Did you forget to cut out an obituary from the newspaper Aftenposten? Did you know you can search for it on the site Aguiden? The database is perhaps not so far back, but in the long run, this could be a good resource in the pursuit of forefathers.

The database contains adverts about "death", "Birth and adoption" and "Wedding and Partnership", which has been published in the Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten's morning editions as of 13. March 2006 (deaths from 15 of February the same year).

That same day they are printed in the newspaper, you can search them up on Aguiden.

Numbers from the base (as at 18 May 2010):

• 7013 deaths (18 new today)
• 636 Birth and adoption (0 new today)
• 96 Wedding and Partnership (2 new today)
